Bill, who got the nickname Cowboy by some close friends many years ago, creates all of the items.  Sheryl calls herself the finisher.

Bill salvaged his first barn wood years ago when on a trip to Wyoming. He and Sheryl used this wood to make shelves and picture frames for their own home.

Since then Bill salvaged wood from an over 100 yr. old barn near Sault Sainte Marie, MI after hearing that the property owner needed the wood removed when Mother Nature collapsed the old barn. That led them to the salvage of another nearly 100 yr. old barn in Washtenaw & Monroe Counties here in Michigan. With more barns to come from Michigan & Missouri this Summer, and many new creations produced every year.

What started out as giving barn wood gifts to family & friends and creating furniture for their own home slowly turned into a part time small business creating everything from picture frames to wine racks to rustic furniture and home decor. Keep checking the Home Page for dates of upcoming craft shows they will be at.

They both have a keen eye for envisioning new life for salvaged old wood, salvaged old hardware, and any barn items that Sheryl uses to put the finishing touches on their creations.

Owners: Bill (Cowboy) & Sheryl Sutherland
